We seek to fix the military training, investigation and adjudication systems related to sexual violence, systems that often re-victimize survivors by blaming them while failing to prosecute perpetrators.

Michael Hoffman in DoD Buzz reports:

“What we have been doing is not working. It’s not for lack of effort,” [Welsh] told Congress. “Everyone is trying to do the right thing and figure out some way of stopping this, but the fact is we haven’t. In fact, we haven’t even reversed the trend.”
