   Mission:
We honor, support, and give voice
to the brave men and women in uniform who have been raped or sexually assaulted by fellow service members. We seek to fix the military training, investigation and adjudication systems related to sexual violence, systems that often re-victimize survivors by blaming them while failing to prosecute perpetrators.

DoGooder Awards Highlight Effective Nonprofit Videos

The Chronicle of Philanthropy reports:

Protect Our Defenders, a nonprofit in Burlingame, Calif., won in the small-organizations category for a video that featured interviews with members of the military who had been sexually assaulted. “A lot of videos try to create outrage,” says Mr. Alpert. “This one does a good job at it.”
