SF Chronicle: New laws needed on military sex assaults

The San Francisco Chronicle reports:

Members of the military deserve the same workplace protections as other federal employees. Yet military culture, with its reverence for chain of command and the internalizing of traumatic experiences, is part of the problem. The military too often forces victims to stay in units with their attackers or dishonorably discharges them with expedient diagnoses of “personality disorder.”
