to the brave men and women in uniform who have been raped or sexually assaulted by fellow service members. We seek to fix the military training, investigation and adjudication systems related to sexual violence, systems that often re-victimize survivors by blaming them while failing to prosecute perpetrators.

Houston Chronicle: Women Targeted in Lackland Sex Cases Rises to 38

“We’ve always known this is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Nancy Parrish, founder of Protect Our Defenders, a group that supports sexual trauma victims in the military. “In all likelihood we are just beginning to document how horrible this problem really is.”
