Huts for Vets is a non-profit organization that focuses on wilderness healing and bonding with other veterans as a way to deal with trauma.
This unique wilderness-based program in Aspen, Colorado is offered free to men and women veterans who have suffered trauma as a result of their service. Huts for Vets serves veterans who are seeking a perspective shift through beautiful mountain scenery, camaraderie at the 10th Mountain Huts, and philosophical explorations of literature.
Huts for Vets was founded in Aspen, Colorado in January 2013 to provide, at no cost to participants, wilderness and communal experiences as therapeutic healing for U.S. veterans and active-duty service members.
