Legal Aid Wisconsin is the state’s largest non-profit law firm providing free civil legal services to Wisconsin clients at the most vulnerable times in their lives. They believe access to justice is a vital civic issue, and in the right to counsel in civil legal proceedings. They believe everyone deserves the highest-quality legal representation possible regardless of ability to pay. LAW serves clients statewide from six offices staffed with nearly 80 experienced attorneys, along with hundreds of volunteer attorneys who donate thousands of hours of civil legal service each year.
