The National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) represents a veteran, Robert L. Doyon, whose case is on appeal at the Federal Circuit on a denial of medical retirement, in which the Court of Federal Claims refused to apply the liberal consideration DoD guidance to medical retirement.
Protect Our Defenders filed an amicus brief in support of the argument that medical retirement should prevail under the liberal consideration guidance.
