Maryland Legal Aid (MLA) is a non-profit organization providing legal assistance to low-income, marginalized individuals in every part of the state. MLA staff, pro bono attorneys, community partners, and general supporters all play important roles in ensuring that the legal playing field is leveled so that those most in need achieve equal justice. Their service areas include consumer, employment, family, domestic abuse, healthcare, housing, income maintenance, and civil rights law.
