‘Amazing how the military continues to coddle senior officers at the highest levels who fail to act to hold offenders accountable,’ said Christensen, the former top prosecutor for the Air Force. ‘Richardson’s parsing of words that he ‘may’ have sent the wrong message is proof he doesn’t get it. Doubtless, he did send the wrong message to the fleet and should have been removed.'”
