The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center is a Joint Commission-accredited facility. The Medical Center is a primary and secondary care facility. It is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, secondary care, and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, visual impairment and low vision rehabilitation, spinal cord dysfunction, TBI, polytrauma, pain management, PTSD, homeless, MHICM, prosthetic laboratory/orthotics, and extended care services. The Medical Center serves over 30,000 Veterans living in 59 counties of the state. This facility provides health services for all veterans (both men and women) who have been raped or sexually assaulted while in the military.
Our VA does not have anything beyond a group for survivors of MST and that is not near enough! We need to educate all VA staff, Dr.’s and government awareness to what is continuing to happen to our service members in every branch! We need to get public involvement to STOP these cruel acts against men and women!
